I've been taking pictures since my parents gave me a plastic box camera when I was ten. I loved it, even the smell of flashbulbs. Got my first SLR at twenty, then moved to digital about fifteen years ago. Each week, I go back and forth between Maine's mountains and its coast. Both areas are stunningly beautiful and my camera is always within reach. Twice a year I go somewhere else in North America and Europe, especially Ireland and around the Mediterranean.
