I've been taking pictures since I found a red plastic box camera under the Christmas tree when I was ten. I loved it, even the smell of flashbulbs. Now in my sixties, I split my time between Maine's mountains and its coast each week, and a camera is always within reach. Each year I go somewhere else in North America and Europe, especially Ireland, and photograph what I find beautiful. To discourage theft, all images on this site are low-resolution versions of high-resolution originals and will show a mild blur. I used multiple cameras over the years, but most photos here were shot with a full-frame, 45-megapixel DSLR and will enlarge up to 24x36 without blurring.
